Pati

Already a star on the rise, this energetic performer has his debut cd “Nesian”
which has been seen as a hit not only with Samoans but also those around the
Pacific. His cd includes “Island girl"
a mid-tempo, island-flavored song (featuring special guests Oshen and Fiji).
Many young Samoans are singing along to his first song on the cd "Tali Maia'.
At only twenty years old, Pati chose the path of an entertainer at an early age.
As a child, he joined in church choirs as well as family bands .As a youngster
he entertained family in Samoa , California ,Washington ,Utah and Hawaii
.Attending high school in Honolulu, Pati competed as a finalist at Brown Bags to
Stardom in 1997.
He caught the eye of Laiku Soares and Chris Jay (from the Whodunnits, a local
production team) while singing at a family party in the summer of 1998. Pati
recorded a few demos in their studio . Once convinced, they felt the need to
seek assistance from Laiku’s father Bully Soares who has also discovered such
talents as Fiji, Bruddah and Waltah.
Bully was impressed by the power and range of Pati’s voice, and agreed to help
produce and develop his music career.
