The Majority Voted Yes To the Two Questions
Involved and the General Assembly of the 
United Nations Granted Independence to Western
Samoa. This Agreement
As from 31st December 1961

This is to commemorate the day of independence
The first day of January in the year of our
 Lord One thousand Nine Hundred and Sixty Two
