The whole evening for me was special as all the contestants were working together, helping to prepare each other mentally and knowing that anyone could win.

Did you dedicate this win to someone? Who was it, and why?

To Uncle Deric Godinet- owner of ‘Le Godinet Restaurant’. He was always there for me, always gave me good advice. The advice which remains with me “ Aim high, cause you are the best and believe in yourself and your abilities”

How do you see the Miss Samoa Pageant benefiting young Samoan Women today?

Draws out individuality; confidence and most of all knowing that everyone’s beauty shines from within.

Meeting all the other contestants and making more friends.

What is your most valuable advice to young Samoan women in today’s changing Samoan community?

Put your trust in God, as he is always with you- when you are troubled or happy.

Pray- it’s the most powerful weapon.
