• Meeting my husband!

Did you dedicate this win to someone? Who was it and why?

• Yes I did. To my father. Dad died the previous year (18 July 1976). Well he was a great politician and judge of character and I felt he was the best Dad a girl could have.

What were some of the highlights during your reign?

• Dealing a great deal with the public

Briefly describe your career path after your reign as Miss Samoa.

• I am a secretary by trade. I took on some designing in jewelry and fashion. I was a Polynesian dancer and still am.

Briefly tell us what you do at present? (Business, studying etc..)

• I presently run our family hotel ( Stevensons at Manase Sandy Beach Resort)

What do you hope to achieve in the next 5 years

• Completion of our hotel extension, and hope to launch it on to the international market soon.

What is your most valuable advice to young Samoan women in today’s changing Samoan community?

• To be themselves, think smart and be confident.

And finally who in society or on the community do you admire most and why?

•  My husband! He’s smart, good looking and the sexiest individual!
