Simi offers services in the translation of any document in
both Samoan and English. Speaks basic French.
Translator is fluent in both languages in both written and
oral forms and is a writer by hobby. She was educated at Samoa
College (Samoa), New Plymouth Girls High (NZ) and Massey
University (NZ) and is currently a senior public servant in
the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Samoa.
Has done extensive work in translation of policy documents for
the government, printed literature for training purposes in
various areas such as business development, youth, health and
nutrition and tourism etc as well as court documents.
Rates
For work up to 10 pages an hourly rate of ST$50 will be
charged and work will be completed and returned the same day.
For longer documents a page rate of ST$30 will be charged.
Translation work includes typing and layout of document,
printing of one hard copy and transfer to diskette or direct
through the internet if required.
